About mingshi

Born 1982 and raised in Hong Kong, Mingshi Wan, aka Jenny, came to the UK at the age of 17 to further her studies. She was a undergrad at London College of Printing for 4 years, and a postgrad at University of Brighton for a year. On her return to Hong Kong at 2005, she now holds a BA in Graphic Design and MA in Illustration.

For how Mingshi does her graphics and illustration, check out Mingshi's Graphic Design Online Portfolio

Her other hobbies include photography (although miserably amateurish), collecting nice tenugui, travelling, art, history and social concerns.

She struggles to increase her body weight to over 100 lbs by taking 3 pints of beer every weekend after practice... However, it doesn't seem to work much.

You can read Mingshi's most up-to-date training weblog at Mingshi's Kendo Blog [external site].

The photo at background (Site Info's wallpaper) was taken at Jul 97 in Xingdao, Sichuan Province, China.
