The last major kendo taikai of the year was the Mumeishi 3's. However
there was this Iaido grading on the same weekend so I happened to miss
the action.
To compensate for the lack of competition kendo in me, here comes the
Squad Shiai League Practice - everyone in attendance fights everyone
off.
These are a few shots during break time.

That was a super cold day and volunteering referees had to keep their
coats on at all times.
I was having a major flu as well - what a great excuse to take more
shots!

Sotaro Honda, UK team coach and mastermind of this practice, gets the
most confusing task of filling in the league table.

There were 3 unmarked courts and we get to pick who to fight against
(everyone has to fight everyone once anyway).
There is a handicapped system when a man fights a woman: girls get 1-0
from the start... Whooho!!
